Project
Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a college-level institution with an area of 433,000 square feet. It comprises 11 wings that were built between 1948 and 1995. The particular challenge of this energy efficiency project involved keeping the old heating and water distribution systems operational through the massive conversion of steam heating to hydronic (hot water) heating, without damaging the existing architectural features.
