Built in 1995, 1 McGill is a residential co-property in the heart of Old Montreal with 160 luxury units. This project posed the significant challenge of reducing energy consumption while adding air-conditioning in the common areas, the air-conditioning feature had been missing in the building since its construction. Our optimization and in-depth analysis of all of the building’s electromechanical elements helped us reach these two objectives.
