In its fifth update of the Plan for a Green Economy 2030 (PGE 2030), the Quebec government acknowledges that current measures will allow it to achieve only 65% of its GHG reduction target by 2030. As part of the development of its Climate Plan, the Town of Mont-Saint-Hilaire has resolutely committed itself to decarbonization. To support the town in this initiative, Énergère helped it carry out its GHG assessment and developed a customized decarbonization plan, aimed at reducing emissions by 40% by 2030, compared with 2021 levels.
