Sustainability is being achieved at the CISSS of the Bas-Saint-Laurent! In parallel with the project aimed at optimizing the energy efficiency of its facilities located in Matane (at the hospital, the CLSC and the CHSLD), the CISSS inaugurated last Tuesday the wall of Philippe Giroux, renowned artist of the area.

Specially designed for the project conducted by Énergère, this work of art connects nature with the mechanical equipment of the building and portrays energy as a crucial element of the environment. Exhibited permanently at Matane’s hospital, the mural, entitled Éco-énergétisme by the painter draws people’s attention on the hidden spaces of the building.

The art piece has been declined into several posters displayed in the buildings involved with the project.
