This Week, Let’s Talk Energy!

Énergère is proud to take part in the Let’s Talk Energy Week that will be held from February 20 to 27, 2016.  Organized by Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation (CSTMC), this initiative aims at enhancing energy awareness and providing insight among Canadians, not only at the national level, but regionally and locally as well.

This awareness week is an invitation to explore energy systems, to learn how energy is related to our lives, and how our economic, social and environmental choices impact energy consumption. This organization brings together a national network of partners and advisors to inform and engage Canadians on energy topics and support them in making informed choices.

Énergère got involved by initiating a dialogue on Canada’s energy future with the students from École Internationale de Montréal. Our expert, Marie-France Lefebvre, held many conferences this week and took this opportunity to inform about Québec’s environmental situation, especially after the agreement signed lately at the COP21. Besides defining the energy efficiency and introducing some innovations, Ms. Lefebvre also shared environmentally friendly practices so each and everyone of us can reduce our daily energy consumption.
